Three non-stop daily flights to San Francisco (SFO) begin today

Charles M. Schulz – Sonoma County Airport (STS) starts three nonstop flights a day to San Francisco International Airport (SFO) on United Airlines. Daily flights are on their Bombardier CRJ-200, 50-seat jet aircraft.

The short flights are for connectivity to the world’s leading global route network, and are scheduled to arrive into Sonoma County Airport at 1:35 p.m., 4:45 p.m., and 11:20 p.m. and depart daily at 6:10 a.m., 2:05 p.m., and 5:15 p.m. This will be United’s shortest scheduled flight. Tickets for these flights can be purchased on www.flySTS.com and at www.united.com.

“This new daily service will connect customers from all over the world to California’s wine country through San Francisco,” said Anthony Toth, United’s managing director of Sales. “The three daily flights will operate like a shuttle between the two cities, providing business and leisure travelers with convenient flight options throughout the West Coast and beyond.”

“We are thrilled to offer United Airlines service to our community north of the Golden Gate. This connection will provide even more options to go anywhere at any time,” said Chairwoman Shirlee Zane, Sonoma County Board of Supervisors.

The flights between STS and SFO will be United’s shortest scheduled flights at just 39 minutes gate to gate. The airline is providing customers on these flights with travel wine glasses to commemorate the brand new service to Wine Country.
