Charles M. Schulz – Sonoma County Airport now offers the innovative FuelRod kiosks for passengers needing to power up mobile devices on-the-go. The kiosks are located within the Airport terminal and at the gate for convenience and take all major credit cards.

The $20 portable, rechargeable FuelRod charging system delivers up to 8-hours of talk time on smart phones, or nearly 4-hours of usage on the most demanding of tablet devices. Each come with adapters for both Apple or Android devices.

Environmentally Friendly

Fully rechargeable for repeat usage, FuelRod can be plugged in to any standard electrical outlet using a USB adapter that plugs into both the FuelRod and outlet. However, for no additional cost customers have the handy option of swapping their units out for another fully charged unit at any FuelRod Swap Station (swaps are unlimited). They can also simply return it to a FuelRod station. This means no empty FuelRods in a landfill.

“Public demand for more charging options at the Airport spurred our interest in providing FuelRod. We believe it will be a welcome amenity for passengers needing to stay connected in transit,” says Jon Stout, STS Airport Manager.
