Public Information Meetings
Public Scoping Meeting The scoping meeting will provide an opportunity for agency staff and members of the public to submit comments, either written or through the meeting stenographer, regarding the scope of the environmental issues to be addressed in the Environmental Impact Report (EIR). All public comments will be considered by the County during preparation of the EIR. Past meetings and future events The Draft Airport Master Plan Update Public Meetings took place in September 2007. The November 2007 Draft Final Master Plan Update was reviewed and accepted by the County of Sonoma Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, December 4, 2007. Once accepted, the Environmental Review takes place. This process will take 18-24 months to complete. Existing and potential environmental effects and appropriate mitigating measures must be considered throughout the Environmental Review process. There will be an opportunity for the public to make comments during the Environmental Review at the meeting posted above. After the Environmental Review is complete the Board of Supervisors will vote to certify the Environmental Review and consider adoption of the Master Plan Update. |
