Sonoma County Airport
Aviation Commission
The Charles M. Schulz - Sonoma County Airport (STS) is owned and operated by the County of Sonoma, Department of Transportation and Public Works. Two separate Commissions address Airport issues. One is the Airport Land Use Commission. Their duties are to make recommendations about the compatibility of land use around airports in Sonoma County, and is under the jurisdiction of the Permits and Resource Management Department (PRMD). The other is the Aviation Commission, which reviews aviation maters related to the operation of STS, makes recommendations and gives advice to the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors.
The Aviation Commission is a seven-member body with a member representing each Supervisor's district and two at-large members. The Commission meetings are open to the public and are held on the third Thursday of the month. (See the schedule below for exact dates, times and locations)

Commission Meetings: All meetings are held at 8:00.m. in the Airport Manager's Office 2290 Airport Blvd, Santa Rosa, CA 95403, unless otherwise noted. Meeting minutes will be posted after they are approved by the Aviation Commission at the meeting following the meeting in question.
